Erica Hayden
Troop Coordinator
I joined American Heritage Girls in July 2015 as a Pathfinder Assistant Leader then became Pathfinder Leader 2016, Explorer Leader 2017 and Troop Coordinator in 2019. My husband, Luke and I were married in 2006 and we have a daughter, Makayla, who is an AHG Patriot. Our church is Haven Baptist where I lead a Ladies Fellowship group, help with Sunday School and VBS. I have been working for Central Christian School since August 2014 where I started as a preschool teacher and in 2019 became the Art teacher. Being crafty is something I enjoy doing, from anything art, cake decorating, baking, cooking and sewing. I also enjoy swimming, reading and hanging out with family and friends.
Beth Walters
Vice Coordinator
Beth has been with the troop in various roles, and is a great leader! She is married to Matthew and they have two daughters, Annabelle and Charlotte who are both part of our AHG troop. They are often found having adventures together!
Jason Nixon
Troop Shepherd since 2023
I have lived in Kansas most of my life: Garden City, Goodland, Hays, Kingfisher (Oklahoma), Concordia, Salina, Hugoton, and now Hutchinson, where I've been almost 5 years now. I am blessed with a wonderful wife of almost 20 years (Misti). and we have 4 children: Zane (12), Adalynn (11), Malachi (6), and Hannah (1 1/2). Our daughter Adalynn is an AHG Explorer. I am the lead pastor at New Life Church of the Nazarene and work for Walmart as a Automotive Technician. Misti is a Kindergarten teacher at Central Christian School. I enjoy the outdoors, working on cars, spending time with my family, and most importantly spending time with God in study, prayer, and worship!
Jennifer Beaird
Troop Treasurer
I became part of the troop when it started in 2014. My daughter was a pathfinder and I was an adult volunteer. In 2017 I became troop treasurer. I love spending time with my AHG family doing activities, service projects, and helping the girls grow in faith.Â
I am also a teacher at Nickerson High School and in my spare time I enjoy reading and spending time with my family.
